AES is an operator that assists with unique experiences and field research in the arctic regions around the world. We do not have pre-planned packages as we tailor our support to customer needs. AES is a “soup-to-nuts” service organization if that’s what’s needed. If the customer is experienced, our service might only be a service-check in a consultative role. As the staff are ex-members of the Dog Sledge Patrol Sirius that operates in the deserted and cold National Park of Northeast Greenland, this specific area is close to our hearts. Therefore, if you want to have a unique experience and visit areas where nobody has been before or shall perform a scientific research study either on land or sea, we offer our assistance. Not only assistance in a traditional way but as something new in that part of Greenland, we are now capable of transporting people and equipment on an adequate and comfortable boat, enabling you to be more flexible and agile than with the traditional means of transport. To be able to offer You a full range of services, AES (Arctic Expedition Supply ApS) will as from summer 2025 be able to offer Boat Services in the Scoresbysund Fjord and in the NE-Greenland National Park up to (and including) Young Sund (Daneborg area). Further north up to Danmarkshavn upon special request only.
We will in 2025 be using small and medium sized vessels classed for a total of 8 persons including equipment and cargo. When needed we will be two licensed navigators onboard ensuring 24/7 service. Weather permitting, we will be able to do an average constant speed of 20 – 25 nmph thus ensuring safe and fast passage to Your research locations.
The boat is classed as cargo/passenger vessel with the Maritime Authorities and manned by a licensed Master with many years of experience in the area. AES will be the only Company offering this special service in the NE-Greenland area.
Onwards, in 2026, we plan to add another vessel to the fleet to ensure even more flexibility for our customers.
